Have you ever broken that kick starter gear on the back of your clutch basket? If you have not, then you will. Any compression over stock will cause the factory gear to fail.
This is the small gear that goes on the back of your clutch basket that is engaged when you kick start your bike. The factory gear breaks very easy with any motor that is over stock compression. This gear has been machined out of hardened steel and will hold up better to high compression motors. This is a brand new machined gear, and comes with a brand new bushing that goes in your clutch basket. Fits stock and hardened basket. A perfect up grade when swaping over to a hardened basket. The gear and bushing does not come with a aftermarket basket. Don't install the weak factory stuff and take a chance on damaging your new hotrod Banshee motor!
